When we talk about a producer, we quickly make a picture in our head and we form a man. While a lot of creativity can also be found in a woman. Just look at Alison Wonderland or Roselilah who have already produced some for greatest artists.

We also have a talented female producer in our midst at Compulse records.

Amal AKA AJ (18 years old) who mainly focuses on drill and trap genre, but also takes the initiative to learn other types of genres. To improve her knowledge and qualities.

The fact that she is now busy with producing has not just come out of nowhere. Since childhood, her mother has been raising her with music from the 80s/90s. Because music started to play a bigger role in her life, she chose to start playing the piano and singing. She did not go to class for this but taught it by herself. After a while this didn’t appeal to her anymore and she started looking for something else.

Then the pandemic hit and she started practicing making beats in her own room. This really appealed to her, because you can give it your own creativity, emotions and own twist. You are not dependent on anything and can decide for yourself how you want it. She also gets her inspiration from her emotions and looks up to other female producers. After sitting in her room for a while, she went to different studios. That’s how she ended up by Compulse Records. Where she now spends a lot of time together with various artists inside and outside of Compulse Records. Most artists in the studio are very surprised about the work she delivers, because a female producer does not come into the scene much.

This is certainly one of her goals to create a platform as a female producer.

From there she can also build different connections. And hopefully continue to grow in this way and actually be able to make it her permanent job in the future.
